  12. About this disk:

  14. This disk contains an application to patch Microsoft Works version 1.1, which
  15. corrects a problem users may experience when using Apple's System release 6.0
  16. (a "Insufficient memory to run Microsoft Works" dialog may appear when
  17. launching Works).

  20. Using the Works 1.1 Patch Application:
  21.  
  22. Use this patch only on a copy of your Works Program.
  23.  
  24. Steps:
  25.     1)    Drag the Works 1.1 Patch, from the disk, into the same folder
  26.         as the works Program. 
  27.     2)    Double click on the patch application icon.
  28.     3)    A short message will appear letting you know that the patch is
  29.         about to be applied.
  30.     4)    Click the OK button to apply the patch to Microsoft Works.

  32. Note: the Works program, must be called "Microsoft Works".  If you have renamed
  33. the program, an error dialog will tell you that the patch application cannot
  34. find the application "Microsoft Works".

  36. After the patch has been installed, there is no need to keep the Works Patch
  37. application on the same disk as the Microsoft Works program.  Remove the patch
  38. application, by dragging it into the trash can.
